Fit Hit

Built to Hit Different.

Fit Hit was built around a different idea of fitness. Its founder came from a Krav Maga background, bringing self-defense into a boutique studio concept built around high-intensity cardio and conditioning.

Fit Hit was about getting stronger, moving faster, and developing the confidence and skills to defend yourself.

The brand needed to communicate that difference from the moment someone saw the name to the moment they walked through the door.

The Brief

The assignment went well beyond creating a logo.

The task was to build the visual and verbal identity from the ground up: logo, messaging, tagline, color, typography, brand voice, merchandise, signage, and interior direction.

The challenge was finding the right balance. Fit Hit needed to feel tough and physical without becoming intimidating, energetic without falling into the visual clichés of the fitness category.

Most importantly, the identity needed to communicate that self-defense wasn't an add-on. It was part of what made Fit Hit different.

The Idea

"Cardio. Conditioning. Combat."

Three words became the foundation for the brand, distilling the entire experience into something immediate and ownable: the intensity of cardio, the discipline of conditioning, and the practical edge of combat.

From there, the visual and verbal language was built to match: direct, confident, physical, unapologetic.

The Direction

The identity was developed as a complete brand experience, not a collection of individual assets.

The logo established the visual attitude, while typography, color, messaging, and graphic elements created a flexible language that could move across the business.

That language then moved into the physical space, shaping signage, environmental graphics, merchandise, and the interior experience, so the studio itself became an extension of the brand.

Every element had to feel like it belonged to the same world: energetic, disciplined, ready for action.

The System

The final brand guide gave Fit Hit a practical framework for continuing to build the brand.

It established the rules for the identity, color, typography, messaging, signage, merchandise, and interior applications, giving the team and outside vendors the tools to create new materials without losing the personality of the brand.

From a schedule on the wall to the environment around a workout, the brand had a consistent voice wherever it showed up.

The Outcome

Fit Hit launched with a clear point of view, a distinctive voice, and a physical environment that brought the proposition to life.

The brand positioned fitness as something more capable and more purposeful: training your body to look better, move, perform, and defend itself.
